Barn Owl Nest Box

Originally designed with the assistance of The Barn Owl Trust, this best selling Barn Owl Nest Box incorporates all the essential features for the safe rearing of owlets. This Owl Box is suitable for use inside a building such as a barn, or externally on a tree, wall or post. 

The Barn Owl Box interior has a depth of 43cm from the entrance hole to the floor base which also has suitable drainage holes. With the owlets in mind, this Owl Box has a front platform just below the entrance hole for them to walk onto. The back of the box has fixing holes above and below the nesting box and oversized holes to accommodate ropes for hauling the owl nest box up to its fixing location.

The Nestbox has two inspection hatches allowing full access to the whole floor area ideal for inspection and cleaning out from either side. Both hatches are designed to avoid rain coming in and are securely held in position with latches. The front of the roof has an overhang above the entrance hole and landing platform to give extra shelter from the weather.
